Classroom of the Elite Season 3
The third season of the psychological thriller anime Classroom of the Elite continues the story of Kiyotaka Ayanokouji, a mysterious student who attends a prestigious school that evaluates its students based on their academic and social skills. Along with his classmates from Class D, the lowest-ranked class in the school, he tries to climb up the ranks and challenge the other classes. However, he also has to deal with the schemes and secrets of the school and its students, as well as his own hidden past. Classroom of the Elite Season 3 will explore the second year arc of the light novel series, where new characters and conflicts will be introduced. Classroom of the Elite Season 3 will air on January 3 on Crunchyroll.
Tsukimichi: Moonlit Fantasy Season 2
The second season of the isekai comedy anime Tsukimichi: Moonlit Fantasy follows the adventures of Makoto Misumi, a high school student who is summoned to another world by the goddess Tsukuyomi. However, he is rejected by the goddess of that world, who deems him too ugly and banishes him to the farthest edge of the world. There, he meets various races and creatures, such as dragons, orcs, and spiders, and forms bonds with them. He also learns to use his own unique magic, which is different from the common magic of that world. Tsukimichi: Moonlit Fantasy Season 2 will show more of Makoto’s interactions with his friends and foes, as well as his quest to find out the truth behind his summoning. Tsukimichi: Moonlit Fantasy Season 2 will debut on January 8 on Crunchyroll.
Mashle: Magic and Muscles Season 2
The second season of the comedy shounen anime Mashle: Magic and Muscles resumes the hilarious exploits of Mash Burnedead, a muscular boy who lives in a world where magic is everything. He has no magic power, but he compensates with his brute strength and physical training. He enrolls in the Easton Magic Academy, where he pretends to be a magic user, while secretly using his muscles to perform feats that rival or surpass magic. He also makes friends and enemies with the other students and faculty, who have their own quirks and abilities. Mashle: Magic and Muscles Season 2 will feature more of Mash’s antics and battles, as well as the introduction of new characters and challenges. Mashle: Magic and Muscles Season 2 will start on January 6 on Crunchyroll.
Chained Soldier
A new original anime from the studio that brought you Attack on Titan and Vinland Saga, Chained Soldier is a dark and gritty sci-fi anime that depicts the struggle of humanity against an alien invasion. The story centers on Yuuji Kaido, a young soldier who is part of a special unit that uses chains to fight the aliens, known as the Blue. The chains are the only weapons that can harm the Blue, but they also have a side effect of shortening the lifespan of the users. Yuuji and his comrades have to face not only the threat of the Blue, but also the harsh reality of war and survival. Chained Soldier is an anime that promises to deliver intense action, drama, and emotion. Chained Soldier will premiere on January 4 on HIDIVE.
